Michael John A. Tantoco Jr.’s practice is currently focused on corporate and commercial transactions, publicly listed company compliance, energy, data privacy, immigration, estate settlement, labor, and litigation.
Atty. Tantoco’s experience extends to assisting clients, both local and foreign, in matters concerning their incorporation, structuring, reorganization, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, legal opinion drafting, compliance by publicly listed companies, energy related matters, data privacy compliance and best practices, visa application and renewal, estate settlement, and civil and criminal litigation.
Atty. Tantoco also represents clients before several regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Philippine Stock Exchange, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Department of Energy, Energy Regulatory Commission, Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Labor and Employment, National Labor Relations Commission, and various Trial Courts.
Atty. Tantoco received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Minor in Entrepreneurial Development from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2013 and graduated with his Juris Doctor degree at the Ateneo Law School in 2017. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2018 and joined the firm the same year.
